This one-handed catch by Fabian Allen against Australia will make your day – watch

Saint Lucia: West Indies showed the world who are the masters of T20 when they beat Australia 4-1 in the 5-match T20I series. A one-handed catch by Fabian Allen stole the show.

Allen dismissed the dangerous Aaron Finch on the bowling of Hayden Walsh. Finch looked dangerous and if he had stayed at the crease, the result might have been different for the Windies. It was in the 10th over of the match when Walsh swung the ball to Finch, who thrust it to the ground. It looked like the ball would fall off the long-on fielder (Fabian Allen), who was kept slightly wide, but to everyone’s surprise, Allen took the blinder and helped the Australian captain out.

Take a look at the catch here:

Earlier in the match, West Indies won the toss and decided to bat first. The series was already won by the Windies so there was no pressure on the Caribbean team. Apart from Evan Lewis’ 71, none of the players made a major contribution. They all hit but none of them made an impact but still West Indies managed to reach a challenging total of 199. Australia came out to bat and showed some promise. It was an unexpected economical spell from Chris Gayle that gave West Indies some breathing room. Cottrell and Russell took advantage of the situation and took wickets.

West Indies eventually beat Australia by 16 runs. With this performance, WI has shown the world that they still have to be the best in T20Is.
