This Government Hikes DA For State Employees

New Delhi: The Chhattisgarh government today said it will increase the Dearness Allowance (DA) for its employees by 5 per cent, taking the total to 38 per cent. According to officials, around 3.80 lakh state government employees are expected to benefit from the increased DA. After the notification comes, it will be known when the employees will start getting the increased DA.

State government employees earlier got DA at the rate of 22 per cent under the 7th Pay Commission, which was later increased by 6 per cent and 5 per cent to 33 per cent. ,Also Read: 10 Richest Women In India 2023,

With this increase, state government employees will now be eligible to get 33 percent DA. However, it is still 4% less than the DA given to central government employees.

The Madhya Pradesh government recently proposed a 4 per cent hike in the Dearness Allowance (DA) for state government employees.

According to a PTI report, this statement was made at a mass marriage ceremony in Gilore village of Sehore district. According to the Chief Minister, the state government will increase the DA provided by the federal government by 4 percent to bring it online.
