SS Rajamouli directorial RRR has become one of the biggest visual masterpieces of this year, starring megastar Ram Charan and NT Rama Rao, better known as Jr NTR. It is breaking box office records and has gathered a cult of its own. The film is now gaining attention for the “chemistry” between its two male characters. Epic action drama set in 1920, also stars Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn in supporting roles portrays a fictional story around two Indian revolutionaries Alluri Sitarama Raju (played by Ram Charan) and Komaram Bheem (played by Jr NTR) and their fight against the British Raj.

Many viewers, especially in the West, are tweeting that ‘RRR’ is a gay romance and how much they enjoyed the chemistry between the two characters. One Twitter user said, “Great action, yes. Adventure, yes. Revenge, yes. But why didn’t any of you tell me that #RRRMovie was so heartwarmingly gay?”

Another user wrote, “They should have made RRR gay, the potential was there.”

Another user tweeted, “Start the proud month by watching Indian period gay romance action drama RRR now on Netflix.

Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma, who earlier took a dig at Jr NTR and Ram Charan’s ‘bromance’ in the film as ‘Dangerous 2.0’, the name of his film based on an alleged homosexual theme. He took to Twitter and shared.

Naturally, after seeing all these Twitter reactions, Rajamouli’s fans are quite upset as they don’t see it that way.

Many are viewing this picture as a complete drama with an LGBT message. It’s interesting to see how a film can be done in multiple ways while still being interpreted. As per estimates, ‘RRR’ has crossed Rs 1200 crore in box office earnings and is still going strong.
