These Samsung Galaxy A series phones may come with water-resistant design – Times of India

samsung There are reportedly plans to bring water resistance feature to more models of the Galaxy A series. This feature was first introduced in the Galaxy A52 last year. The handset then offered an IP67 rating. It was finally introduced in 2021 in the high-end Samsung Galaxy A72.
Currently, Samsung offers water-resistance ratings with all its smartphones under the Galaxy S, Galaxy Note and foldable series.
According to a report in The Alec, the South Korean smartphone maker may launch more phones with water resistance design under the Galaxy A series in 2022. The devices are said to come with an affordable price tag. The move is aimed at better competition with Chinese brands like Xiaomi and Oppo.
according to the report, Samsung Galaxy A33 Could be the first Galaxy A series phone to come with IP Rating in 2022. It can get IP67 rating. This may eventually expand to the Galaxy A53, Galaxy A53 5G and Galaxy A73.
Samsung Galaxy A33 Expected Specs
As per the rumours, the Samsung Galaxy A33 could feature a 6.4-inch Infinity-U hole-punch display. The smartphone could feature a full-HD+ Super AMOLED panel and is expected to come with four camera sensors at the back. The camera module may be rectangular in shape.
The device is expected to come with a 5,000mAh battery. It is rumored to be a 5G phone that may measure 159.7x74x8.1mm and have a thickness of 9.7mm. The device may miss out on the 3.5mm headphone jack. It can be launched in January next year in two color options – Black and Blue.
