Petrol and diesel prices are reviewed by government OMCs like Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) and they revise the prices on a daily basis. Meanwhile, in international markets, oil prices tumbled on Friday, putting weekly losses near 2%. Brent crude futures fell 12 cents, or 0.2%, to $71.33 a barrel by 0133 GMT, down 1.6% from Thursday. The report noted that US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures fell 8 cents, or 0.1%, after falling 1.7% on Thursday, bringing the final price to $68.06 a barrel.
