Xiaomi reportedly working on redmi k50 series, The flagship smartphone series is expected to have four models. All the four models are rumored to come with different processors. According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the smartphone series could be powered by Qualcomm as well as MediaTek chipset. The leakster also states that Redmi K50 phone will come pre-installed MIUI 13 Different Thinking.
According to the tipster, the Redmi K50 series may come with MediaTek Dimensity 7000 and Dimensity 9000 chipsets. The former is yet to be launched by the company. The Qualcomm processors mentioned by the tipster are the Snapdragon 870 SoC and the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. The leakster says that the Redmi K50 smartphone with Qualcomm chipset will be faster than the smartphone with MediaTek processor.
A previous rumor suggested that the Redmi K50 series could include the Redmi K50 Gaming Standard Edition and the Redmi K50 Gaming Pro. The former is tipped to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7000 processor, while redmi k50 pro It could be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC. The handset can offer triple rear camera setup with 64MP Samsung ISOCELL GW3 primary sensor.
On the other hand, the Redmi K50 Pro is said to come with a higher refresh rate display of 120Hz or 144Hz. It is expected to come with a quad camera setup consisting of 64MP Sony Exmor IMX686 sensor.
