According to the NDTV report, Professor of South Asian Studies at Sichuan University, Zhang Li said that Pakistan may be thinking of taking advantage of Afghanistan against India, but the same cannot be said for China.

Taliban likely to receive diplomatic and economic support from China
China has been denying the allegations about Afghanistan. According to the report, Brahma Chelani, Professor of Strategic Studies at the Center for Policy Research in New Delhi, told an important point about China in this matter. He said the prospect of providing two things (diplomatic recognition and economic aid) needed for the Taliban’s rule in Afghanistan has raised concerns.
