Trial Trailer Out: Kajol is all set to make her online television debut with the web series The Trial. Directed by Suparn Varma, the film also stars Jisshu Sengupta and Sheeba Chadha. It is one of the most eagerly awaited releases of the year. Kajol plays the character of Nayonika in the TV show. The makers of Trial uploaded the first trailer of the series on YouTube on June 12, 2023.

The official trailer of Trial was posted by Kajol on her Instagram account. The actress plays a fierce and strong character in the show. The moral dilemmas depicted in this courtly drama lead Noyonika to take control of her family and her freedom.

Bollywood actress Kajol shared this trial on her official Instagram.
The caption to Kajol’s post read, “Trials sirf courtroom mein nahi, zindagi mein bhi hote hain.” Watch Noyonika Sen Gupta face the toughest trial of her life – HotstarSpecials TheTrial – Pyaar Kaanoon Dhokha, streaming from 14th July TheTrialOnHotstar (sic).”

Speaking about her OTT debut, The Trial, Kajol gave an official statement which read:-
“Complexities define a character for me and there are layers around Nayonika that spoke to me when the role first came my way. Nayonika felt personal, I immediately felt protective about her and it reaffirmed my belief in picking up The Trial – Love, Law, Cheat on Disney+ Hotstar as my first step into the longer format. Suparn Verma has created a world where the vulnerability of the characters is met with the brutal circumstances of life. The audience will feel the same with Nayonika as she makes difficult choices, as I did,” she said.
The web-series will start streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from July 14.
