The Tata Group will follow a four theme approach in 2022; Know the details of IT Major’s strategy

The Tata Group is set to move towards a four-pronged approach as its strategy in 2022. Addressing employees in the New Year’s message, Tata Sons Chairman N Chandrasekaran said that going forward, the group will focus on work across four themes: digital, new energy, supply chain resilience and health. He said the group was already adapting to these changes, and the signs were really encouraging.

Chandrasekaran noted that the change in four-theme approach would be beneficial for the group’s business and new pilot projects, ranging from 5G to TataNeu and Tata Electronics. He thanked the employees for their contribution over the last one year and said that the Tata Group has not only performed well financially but has also been successful in executing its transformation agenda.

Describing the acquisition of Air India as the ‘most important milestone’, Chandrasekaran looked to the year and reflected on the success of the ‘3S strategy’. The ‘Simplify, Synergize and Scale’ approach helped the Tata Group grow financially while working on reducing its carbon footprint and promoting its companies to benefit from revolutionary new technologies.

Chandrasekaran expects 2022 to be an exciting year for the Indian economy and the Tata Group’s contribution to it. He said, “We have come a long way, but we must move forward with our transformation. In the next year, the IMF has predicted that the Indian economy will grow at 8.5%, up from the global average of 4.9%. is much more. We must keep pushing ourselves to be simpler, more sustainable and more technologically advanced.”

The Tata group chairman also cautioned against the dangers of the pandemic and said the world has to learn to live with the coronavirus. He mentioned that businesses and society must work to prepare for outbreaks and new forms of omicron as the spread increases.

Chandrasekaran lauded India’s vaccine policy and said the program has erected a huge wall of security, but people should not let the guards down. He also advised people to take booster shots when they are available.

The Chairman concluded the message with a Happy New Year to the employees and their families.
