The saffron party will continue the fight against love jihad: Dakshina Kannada BJP chief | Mangaluru News – Times of India

MANGALURU: Condemning the statements of Mangaluru MLA UT Khadar, Dakshina Kannada BJP said it will continue to raise its voice against love jihad and terrorist activities.
The MLA had said on Friday that the arrest NIA His constituency should not be politicised.
NIA arrested former MLA’s relative Ammar Abdul Rehman UllalOn suspected ties with Islamic State (IS).
Khadar had asked Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal for making allegations of love jihad and protesting in his constituency.
Responding to Khadar’s statements, DK BJP president Sudarshan Moodbidri told reporters on Saturday that the VHP and Bajrang Dal had opposed terror activities and alleged links of love jihad in the family of the former MLA.
“We condemn the statements” MLA Khader. He has questioned the VHP and Bajrang Dal on raising the issue of love jihad related to the family of the former MLA. Whenever cases of terrorist activities and love jihad come to the fore from any corner of the country, we will keep asking questions. MLA has no right to protest our voice against terrorist activities and love jihad. The BJP justifies the protest by VHP and Bajrang Dal,” Sudarshan said.
The fight against terrorism and love jihad had not started recently. India has been witnessing a fight against religious conversion, cow slaughter, terrorism and love jihad for the last seven decades. The MLA has given an immature statement on the opposition of the Sangh Parivar made immediately after the arrest of the kin of the former MLA. There is documentary evidence that love jihad has taken place in that family and its members are joining IS. The investigation will prove the family’s links with terrorist activities and love jihad. Hence Khadar should not make such immature statements, the BJP leader said.
On Khader being protested by outsiders in his constituency on Wednesday, Sudarshan said: “Ulal is not in Pakistan, and it is in our country. A large number of people of Ullal also joined the protest.
