The Railway Ministry has to work in a new shift, to coordinate with the minister till 12 midnight!

Employees usually work in different shifts in the IT sector or journalism. However, no government office works in such different shifts. But from now on the rules of the Ministry of Railways are changing. Newly appointed Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has directed that from now on the officers will work in two shifts. The first shift is from 8 am to 4 pm. The next shift is from 3 pm to midnight. And since the announcement of this new innings, the controversy has started. It is worth noting that the minister himself works till 12 o’clock in the night. So that the officials of the ministry can work with them, it has been announced to work in this shift.

On one hand, there is dissatisfaction among the employees regarding the nine-hour shift. Apart from this, there are also questions about shift timings. Many people complained that no public transport will take off in Delhi at 12 midnight. Questions have arisen regarding the workers returning home and their safety. In addition, many are also vocal about whether overtime ‘parks’ will be available as they work 54 hours a week instead of 48 hours. It is worth noting that the Ministry of Labor had implemented the rule of 48 hours in a week. The question is whether another ministry at the Center has issued guidelines violating that rule.

Vaishnav, a Rajya Sabha MP from Orissa, has been sworn in as a cabinet minister. He was given the responsibility of Ministry of Railways along with Information and Technology. This engineer has worked as an IS for 15 years. He has replaced senior BJP leaders like Ravi Shankar Prasad and Piyush Goyal. He thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for taking over the new post. “There is a need for coordination between these three ministries,” he said. I will work to fulfill the dream of Prime Minister Modi.
