Priyanka’s entry in Gorakhpur

Priyanka alleged that working against the teachings of the Uttar Pradesh government Saint Gorakhnath, and made election promises ranging from farm loan waiver, jobs to purchase of wheat and paddy at better prices.

The Congress General Secretary also contacted farmers and members of the fishermen community.
“If Congress comes to power, then fisheries will be given the status of agriculture, and it will get all facilities like agriculture.
“The rights of the people of Nishad community in sand mining and fisheries will be restored. Apart from this, a university will also be established in the name of Guru Machendranath,” he said.
The Congress General Secretary said that 20 lakh youth would be given government jobs, while contractual workers would be regularised.
In Ayodhya, Adityanath offered water from the Ganges and Kabul river at the temple site
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Adityanath was in Ayodhya where he offered water from the Ganges and Afghanistan’s Kabul river at the site where the god’s temple was located. to hit is being constructed.

BSP chief Mayawati on Sunday asked her party members to stay away from “opportunistic” people. Six of the suspended leaders of his party had earlier joined the rival Samajwadi Party.
He tweeted, “People have started switching sides with UP Assembly elections approaching. However, this will not increase the vote base of any political party, but will only harm. BSP should keep such ‘rain frogs’ away. ” The proverbial Hindi phrase, “barsati mendak” (seasonal frog).

SP MLA resigns
Samajwadi Party (SP) MLA from Gauriganj constituency of Amethi Rakesh Pratap Singh on Sunday resigned from the Uttar Pradesh Assembly accusing the state BJP government of not fulfilling the promises.
Speaking to PTI, Singh said, “Today I met the Speaker of the UP Assembly Hriday Narayan Dixit and tendered my resignation.”
Accusing the BJP government of lying, Singh said they have raised certain demands and the government has assured them of fulfilling them. But, the demands were not met.
When contacted, Speaker Dikshit told PTI, “MLA Rakesh Pratap Singh met me today and submitted his resignation. The matter will be probed as per rules and a decision will be taken.”
He sat on an ‘anshan’ (protest fast) at the statue of Mahatma Gandhi in the state capital.
RLD promised one crore jobs
Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) president Jayant Choudhary on Sunday promised to provide employment to one crore youth and repeal three agriculture laws if voted to power in the state.
Choudhary launched his party’s election campaign by releasing a manifesto for the UP elections early next year on Sardar’s birth anniversary.

Taking a jibe at the BJP government of the state, he said that the Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had promised 70 lakh jobs after taking oath in 2017, but “now as the term is coming to an end, he is putting up hoardings that he has given four lakh jobs.”
Though no public announcement has been made yet, the RLD is said to be in talks with the Samajwadi Party for a pre-poll alliance for the 2022 elections.
