The Kashmir Files: VP Venkaiah Naidu comes out in support of the film, says it has nothing to do with politics

Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri’s The Kashmir Files is making headlines for its story and the issue of exodus of Kashmiri Pandits. Now Vice President Venkaiah Naidu has also come out in support of the film. Some are praising the film and some are criticizing it. Naidu has stressed on the fact that the film has nothing to do with politics and nothing controversial.

He says, “The public will receive it positively, we have seen that documentation of ‘The Kashmir Files’ picture. There is tremendous enthusiasm among the people and it has nothing to do with politics.”

“Unfortunately, in our country, people have a tendency to make everything controversial and try to give it a political colour. What is political colour, factual, real and literal. Why should there be any politics with the things that are being projected in front of the people?” she added.

Written and directed by Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri, the Exodus drama stars Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty, Darshan Kumar, Pallavi Joshi, Bhasha Sumbali and Chinmay Mandlekar.

Meanwhile, the film is touching new heights every day. Agnihotri and his wife Joshi, who played an important role in the film, have been invited by the British Parliament to talk about the plight of Kashmiri Pandits.

According to the report of BollywoodHungama.com, Vivek and Pallavi will visit the British Parliament next month. He has already received the invitation. In the British Parliament, the two will talk about what all Kashmiri Pandits did in the 1990s. “That’s right, my wife Pallavi and I have been invited to the British Parliament. We will go there next month. Kashmir Files was created with the clear objective of taking the message of the genocide of Kashmir Pandits to every nook and corner of the world. Me. Glad we are reaching there,” the filmmaker told the entertainment portal.
