New season of The Kapil Sharma Show ends, team leaves for US for tour

Popular stand-up comedy series ‘The’ Kapil Sharma The show’ has taken a short break as host Kapil Sharma and his team are going to the US on a professional tour.

The show which premiered on April 23, 2016 has seen three seasons so far and the third season ended on June 5. It started with his team of comedians including Kapil and Kiku Sharda. Sunil GroverSumona Chakravarti, Chandan Prabhakar and Ali Asgar.

The show has entertained the audience with funny jokes between Kapil and Bollywood celebrities, who usually visit the show to promote their latest film.

Watched ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ Shahrukh Khan In 2016 as the first guest who came for the promotion of his film ‘Fan’. Later many celebs like Shraddha Kapoor, Tiger ShroffYo Yo Honey Singh, Akshay KumarAjay Devgan, Yami Gautam, Virender Sehwag, Dharmendra and many such names have reached the show as special guests.

Navjot Singh Sidhu used to come on the show as a permanent house guest but later Archana Puran Singh took his place in the show. Actually Sunil Grover also left the show after some differences with the host.

In the recently concluded season, comedian Kiku Sharda appeared in the show, Krishna AbhishekChandan Prabhakar and Sumona Chakravarti.

During the finale episode, the audience got to see veteran actor Kamal Haasan, who had come to promote his film ‘Vikram’ and in conversation talked about the technology used to make ‘Appu Raja’.

Kapil asked Kamal why the shows did not come for so many years and he replied that he was not doing films for many years as he was busy in politics.

The host also told Kamal that he is a big fan of his and asked him why he got into politics. He also said that where actors work with their heart while politicians work with their mind. However, Kamal opposed his point.

Later, Kapil teases Kamal by saying that he forayed into the Hindi film industry with ‘Ek Duje Ke Liye’ in 1981. Kapil recalled how Kamal looked at that time and how he had changed. “When I saw you before, you only had a mustache, now you have a full arm beard,” he laughed.

While actress Neetu Kapoor also graced the show and had fun with the host, she spoke opposite ‘Jugjug Jio’. Anil Kapoor With Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Maniesh Paul and Prajakta Koli.

Talking about Anil Kapoor who plays her husband in the film, Neetu revealed his mischievous nature.

She shared: “He’s so naughty, Anil is the naughty one ever. When we took our first shot together, the Muhurta shot, he told everyone to come and touch my feet. I said, ‘I’m not the oldest’ I am, you are older than me!'”

“He is two years older than me. I asked him, ‘How are you asking him to touch my feet?’. He said, ‘You came on screen before me and like this, you are older than me’.”

Varun Dhawan, on the other hand, revealed how his co-star Kiara Advani is the lucky charm for the film.

Varun said: “I believe Kiara is a lucky charm. All her films are successful and super-duper hits. She is obviously talented, but luck is really a big factor in our industry.”

The actor also explained why he signed ‘Jugjug Jio’: “I think during the lockdown period, we are all introspecting what we want out of life. I also thought about what kind of films I would do.” I want to do legacy, I want to make a legacy. So during that time I signed two films.”

“One is ‘Jug Jug Jio’ and the other is ‘Bhediya’, both of them are very close to my heart. I think these films will bring something new to the audience. Thus, these films are very thoughtful and watchable. That’s how they go too far.”

‘India’s Laughter Champion’ is all set to replace ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ with Shekhar Suman and Archana Puran Singh in the panel of judges.
