The Hyundai Venue Knight Edition is inspired by the Creta as visualized through digital rendering

Over the years, almost every carmaker has omitted the option of a black paint scheme from the brochures of their model line-up. Now, brands are offering this great color option in the form of special editions. Tata Motors calls it the #Dark, while Hyundai has the Night Edition. The latter recently debuted on the Creta and is expected to be offered alongside the recently launched Venue facelift. But will the Hyundai Venue Night Edition inspire dopamine like the Creta? Well, thanks to digital artist Shoaib R Kalaniya for rendering the Hyundai Venue Night Edition as it helped us find the answer to the above question.

The designer has taken inspiration from the Hyundai Creta Knight Edition, and as a result, the Venue features several darker trim pieces. In the rendering, it gets a blacked-out grille with piano-black elements instead of chrome bits. Similarly, the door handles are finished in a black theme, and followed suit for the window lines, roof rails and alloy wheels. Around the bumper and ORVMs, a red colored highlight can be seen, which adds to the overall drama.

However, Hyundai is yet to confirm the arrival of the Hyundai Venue Night Edition. If this happens, then the SUV will also make some other changes. The interiors will feature an all-black theme with red highlights while the brake callipers will be painted red.

Mechanically, there will be no change of any kind. The Venue facelift is available with a total of three engine options – 1.2L NA petrol, 1.0L turbo-petrol and 1.5L oil burner. There are multiple gearbox options available ahead – 5-speed MT, 6-speed IMT, 7-speed DCT, and 6-speed MT. Hyundai Venue facelift price starts at Rs 7.53 Lakh, ex-showroom.
