New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the development of Varanasi set the roadmap for India’s development as he stressed on speedy completion of projects in his constituency on Tuesday.
Addressing the 98th anniversary celebrations of Sadhguru Sadafaldev Vihangam Yoga Sansthan, PM Modi said, “Development projects in Varanasi are being completed at a rapid pace. Tourists to Varanasi doubled in 2019-20 as compared to 2014-15.” Went.”

PM Modi also said that ‘su raj’ (good governance) is as important for India as ‘swaraj’ (self-rule).
PM Modi said, “Sadguru gave the mantra of Swadeshi during the freedom movement. Now, the country has started ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat Mission’. Local trade and products are being strengthened, local is being made global. “
PM Modi said that Sadhguru Sadafaldev Ji Maharaj and many saints contributed a lot to India’s freedom struggle, but their contribution was not described in history the way it “should have been”.

Further in the program, PM Modi said, “Kashi’s energy remains intact and it continues to expand. Yesterday Kashi dedicated the grand Vishwanath Dham to Mahadev.”

In the early hours of Tuesday, PM Modi along with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath came out on the streets of Varanasi and visited Kashi Vishwanath temple and Banaras railway station.
