The court is likely to pronounce its verdict on Monday on the petition of Wankhede Senior against Malik. India News – Times of India

MUMBAI: The Bombay High Court on Thursday took on record two sets of documents submitted by the minister. Nawab Malik and Gyandev Wankhede, father of NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede, and posted to order on Monday Wankhede Senior’s plea to restrain NCP leader from posting derogatory material against his family. Justice Madhav Jamdar, who is expected to pass an order on November 22, said “the parties are requested not to submit anything till Monday”.
Refuting Malik’s claim that his name was Dawood and that his son was a Muslim, Wankhede produced Sameer’s birth certificate issued by the BMC. In this, Sameer’s father’s name is shown as Gyandev Kachruji Wankhede. He also submitted the Class X school leaving certificate of 1995, in which the caste of ‘Wankhede Sameer Gyandev’ is ‘Scheduled Caste’. In an affidavit submitted on Thursday, Malik said the birth certificate details show Sameer’s religion as ‘Muslim’.
