The assault case against Kannada actor Jay Jagadish closed as a compromise between the two parties

Chandan actor Jay Jagdish, who was accused of thrashing a bus passenger over a minor incident, has rubbished the allegations. J Chandru, a resident of JC Nagar in Bengaluru, had earlier filed a complaint against Jay Jagdish and his driver that they harassed and thrashed him over a petty issue.

According to the complaint, the senior actor allegedly physically tortured a man on the streets for throwing a bottle at his car. However, no report suggests that the matter has been closed after the two parties reached an agreement.

According to his complaint, on June 5, Chandru was getting down from a KSRTC bus at Nelligere toll gate. The actor’s car was parked directly behind the bus. Thereafter, Jai Jagdish and his driver got down from the car and approached him near the rear of the bus and alleged that they had thrown a bottle from the bus at his car.

Despite J Chandru’s repeated protests that he had not thrown any bottle, he ignored her, humiliated her and physically thrashed her. According to the plaintiffs, they also allegedly tore her clothes. He said the villagers tried to pacify the actor, but he refused to back down.

When the actor told the media about the incident, he said that Chandru not only tried to scream, but also tried to strike. Saying this, Jagdish said that all the allegations against him are false.

Jai Jagadish is well known not only as an actor but also as a director and producer in the Kannada film industry. He started his career with the film Phalitansh in 1976 and has since acted in over 300 films as an actor. He produced the film Bhoomi Thaiya Chochhala Maga in 1998 and his first directorial venture was Madana.
