Kalyan: Citizens of 27 Villages Welfare took out a front outside the headquarters on Tuesday Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation ,KDMC) Regarding increase in property tax in 27 villages.
Protesters burnt copies of property tax bills issued by KDMC demanding revocation of increased taxes in areas of 27 villages.
The protest was led by 27 Ganv Sangharsh Samiti president Gangaram Shelar and vice president roses,
Waje said that after 27 villages joined the KDMC, they have increased the property tax by at least 10 times but have not provided any service in these villages.
The protest was supported by MNS Team. During the protest, the delegation met the KDMC officials and demanded from them to repeal the increased taxes.
After meeting the KDMC officials, the delegation warned that if the taxes are not reduced and the employees of the corporation forcibly come to collect the increased tax, they will be responsible if law and order situation arises.
