The wreckage of Nepal’s Tara Airlines aircraft, which suddenly went missing during the flight, has finally been found. According to the search and rescue team of Nepal Army, this plane has crashed. A family from Thane was also traveling in this plane. After the plane crash, now the people of this family are scared that some bad news may come.

The four Indians who were on the plane belonged to the same Tripathi family. This included husband and wife and two children living in Thane. Husband Ashok Tripathi (54) had separated from his wife Vaibhavi Bandekar-Tripathi (51), but the court had allowed the entire family to spend 10 days in a year.

Both the children – son Dhanush Tripathi (22) and daughter Ritika Tripathi (18) – would wait for these ten days for a whole year. All the four people went to Nepal this time, where their plane crashed yesterday. The family was going to visit a temple in Pokhara, Nepal.

Weeping bad condition of elderly mother present at home
After getting information about the crash of the plane, a neighbor said. ‘It is very unfortunate and we are all in shock. Apart from the Tripathi family, Vaibhavi’s elderly mother also lived at home. After the disappearance of the children, now the mother is in a bad condition.

She had an operation a few days back and now she is alone at home. Neighbors are engaged in their service. Their relatives have been asked to contact the Indian Embassy in Nepal. According to the information, his cousin was also going to accompany Ashok on this journey.

Vaibhavi was a software engineer
Vaibhavi used to work as a software engineer in a private company located in Bandra-Kurla Complex, Mumbai. Ashok has an HR consultancy firm in Odisha. Vaibhavi lived with her mother and son and daughter in a Thane flat. Son Dhanush is an engineering graduate and daughter Ritika is in school.

Ashok is the fourth among 5 siblings. Most of his family lives in Pune. After getting information about the accident, the entire family reached Thane late at night. Ashok’s father has been a district judge. He passed away 11 years ago. His mother passed away in the year 2020.

This family was living in Kapurbawdi, Thane

Mumbai Police traces the address of this Thane family
An official of Kapurbawdi police station said, “Following the incident, the Indian Embassy in Nepal contacted Mumbai Police to get more information about the four family members on board the plane. The address written on the passport of Vaibhavi Bandekar (Tripathi) was of Chikuwadi area in Mumbai’s Borivali suburb.

He said, ‘When a team of Mumbai Police reached his flat in Borivali, they found it locked there. It is learned that he had given this flat on rent to someone who is currently out of the country. Later their neighbors told the police that the Tripathi family had shifted to Thane city, following which the police contacted their relatives living there.

Ashok was about to go with his cousin
Ashok’s cousin Kanan Tripathi said, ‘Ashok planned a trip to Nepal with me when he came to Sonpur. Was very happy about this Nepal trip. However, I fell short and canceled the trip.

Ashok had come to Mumbai on 26 May and this family had left for Nepal from here. Ashok’s caretaker said, ‘The day Sir (Ashok) left for Mumbai, he did not tell us when he would return. He just asked me to take care of the house.
