Referring to the recent drone activities in Jammu region, DGP Singh said, “Terrorist organizations are constantly trying to use drones for terrorist activities, so be extra vigilant and alert to thwart their evil efforts. ”
He also directed to strengthen police posts and nakas in the border areas.
The DGP, after receiving the district assessment of the prevailing security situation and the upcoming challenges, directed the officers to strengthen and augment the security grid in their respective areas for the safety and security of the people.
“The action against the terrorists should continue and all suspected elements should be curbed so that their nefarious designs of disrupting the normal life of the people can be thwarted,” the DGP directed.
He also stressed on the importance of maintaining close coordination between J&K Police and other security agencies to meet the security challenges.
