The Anti Terrorist Cell (ATS) of Uttar Pradesh Police has come on alert after clues found from his laptop and bag.

ATS is taking him to Siddharthnagar and Maharajganj, as he had stayed in Bansi in Siddharthnagar for two days before the attack. From here he had also bought that bank, from which he attacked the soldiers. Not only this, in order to investigate this matter, different teams of ATS have started raids in Gorakhpur as well as Kushinagar, Maharajganj and Siddharthnagar.

‘Ansar Ghazwa-Wa Tul’ is a terrorist organization backed by Al-Qaeda. Its purpose is to bring Nizam-e-Mustafa. It is also active in India for a long time.

ATS investigation has revealed that Murtaza had watched videos of terrorist Abu Hamza 8 times before the attack. Apart from this, the video clip of gorilla fighting with NATO in the Arab country was also seen by Murtaza hundreds of times. This video clip of about 8 minutes was found in Murtaza’s electronic device in Arabic language by the name of Abeed.

App was made to increase sleeper cell
The investigation so far has revealed that Murtaza may be a sleeper cell associated with terrorist organizations. ATS is already working in this direction. Murtaza himself is a chemical engineer. He also developed an app. The ATS suspects that by using this app, it was working towards increasing the terrorist sleeper cell network. At present, the team is investigating that app.

Mortaza’s connection to Nepal, Mumbai, Jamnagar and Coimbatore
The investigation of the case has reached Purvanchal and Nepal as well as Mumbai, Jamnagar and Coimbatore. Along with ATS, taking this matter seriously, NIA has also started its investigation. In addition to the Gorakhnath temple map, anti-national videos, videos of radical Zakir Naik and religious literature were found by the team from the laptop of the attacker Murtaza. Evidence of terrorist connection from his mobile phone has been recovered.

Divorced wife and relatives also questioned
An ATS team has left for Ghazipur to interrogate Murtaza’s divorced wife and her family members. Here the team will interrogate his ex-wife and family members. In this, the team will also gather information about the reason for the divorce, Mortaza’s behavior. Apart from this, ATS is preparing to interrogate Murtaza by preparing a list of his close relatives. Murtaza’s father has told that talks are going on in Jaunpur district for his son’s second marriage. In such a situation, the team will also interrogate the family in Jaunpur, where Murtaza’s marriage is being fixed.

ATS was tracking Murtaza for 21 months
ATS is first investigating Murtaza’s Nepal connection. From the facts revealed in the investigation so far, Murtaza’s contacts have been found with many such madrasas and markaz, where foreign funding takes place. The ATS had been tracking Murtaza for 21 months and was continuously tracking him. Intelligence agencies had sent a list of 16 suspects to the UP Police on March 31. Ahmed Murtaza’s name was also in it. Apart from ATS, STF, IB, NIA, 5 police teams are involved in the investigation.

The name was revealed in the investigation of Pakistani spy caught from Gorakhpur
In the year 2020, ATS caught a spy from Gorakhpur, who went to Pakistan in 2014 and 2018 after falling prey to honeytrap. After coming here, he had sent maps of many important places of the city including the airport, Gorakhnath temple to the terrorist masters sitting in Pakistan. Murtaza’s name also came up during the same investigation. ATS was tracking him since then, but due to lack of solid evidence, the team could not nab him and he carried out the crime. Murtaza’s father has also revealed that on April 2, the ATS went to his house to inquire about Murtaza. After that he fled to Nepal.
