Tension has also increased in Punjab after Russia’s attack on Ukraine. Punjab CM Charanjit Channi appealed to PM Narendra Modi to rescue the stranded Punjabis in Ukraine. CM Channi said that he is worried about this war. He said that the countrymen, especially Punjabis, should be safely evacuated from Ukraine, which is facing the attacks of war.

Former CM Captain Amarinder Singh called on External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar tweeted. The captain said that dangerous situations have happened in Ukraine. He appeals to the central government to make all arrangements for the safe evacuation of the stranded Indians.

Government should bring back students free and safe: Mann

Aam Aadmi Party MP Bhagwant Mann also appealed to the central government to bring back the students trapped in Ukraine free and safe. Mann also demanded action on increasing the rates of air tickets on the occasion of crisis. Mann said the central government had asked the students to return from Ukraine but did not make any arrangements. He also termed it unfortunate for not providing proper help to the students trapped in Ukraine.
