Thiruvananthapuram: Supreme Court order seeking compulsory audit of institutions under Sri Padmanabhaswamy Mandir Trust Must be the result of a prevailing fallacy. Many believe that the temple trust and temple management committee are the same. It is not so. A senior member of the Travancore royal family said that the naming of the trust must have created such confusion.
The Trust has nothing to hide. We do not oppose audits. The only thing is that more time will be required to complete the task, the member said.
The royal family argued that the trust established by the former king Sri Chithira Tirunal Balarama Varma was named after him. Sri Padmanabha: temple because it was their custom to name almost all institutions Lord Padmanabha:.
The temple trust has several properties around the Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple. it also includes Krishnavilasom Temple, levy hall, Vaikundam And Ananthasayanam Kalyanamandapam. The Panchajanyam Kalyanmandapam on the west side of the temple is the only property that is directly managed by the temple.
