It’s time for singers from two Telugu states, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to show off their singing skills. Aha, the makers of the streaming service, announced that Nandamuri Balakrishna’s TV show Unstoppable 2 will be replaced by Telugu Indian Idol Season 2. The first season of the show was very successful and was well received by the audience.
Like the previous seasons, the auditions will also be held in both the Telugu states. These auditions are open to young singers in the age group of 16 to 30 years who are interested in participating in the contest. The mega audition will be held on January 29 in Hyderabad. It will take place at the Basheer Bagh campus of St. George’s Girls’ Grammar School.
Popular singer Karthik, actress Nithya Menen and well-known music director Thaman S will judge this season.
Telugu Indian Idol is an Indian Telugu language music competition TV reality show and a part of Indian Idol. It is the Telugu version of the Pop Idol format. The first season of the show premiered on AHA last year on February 25. BVK Vagdevi won the first season, and Srinivas and Vaishnavi secured the second and third positions respectively. Shriram Chandra was the host of the first season of the reality show Bigg Boss 5 after becoming the runner-up.
Chiranjeevi, Rana Daggubati and other celebrities attended the thrilling finale of Season 1. Vagdevi was crowned as the Telugu Indian Idol winner. He received prize money of Rs 10 lakh.
The show featured guest appearances from Mani Sharma, Nandamuri Balakrishna and others to ensure that the first season was a success.
The music directors gave opportunities to many of the singers participating in this season to sing for their films. As a result, thousands of people are eagerly waiting for Season 2 to begin.
