The horror thriller, directed by Rahul Sadasivan, also stars Arjun Ashokan, Sidharth Bharathan and Amalda Liz. Bramayugam has grossed Rs 34.05 crore globally, with its India net box office collection on the first day amounting to Rs 3.10 crore. Notably, it attracted significant viewership from Telugu-speaking regions, with Rs 3 lakh coming from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana alone.
Expanding Reach to Telugu Audience
Sithara Entertainments is set to release Bramayugam in the Telugu language, targeting audiences in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Additionally, there are speculations that Girish A.D’s Premalu will be dubbed in Telugu, further solidifying the foothold of Malayalam cinema in the Telugu-speaking states. However, amidst these successes, the Telugu version of the Tamil film Lal Salaam faced underwhelming performances in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, indicating varying reception among Telugu audiences.
