This victory marks a significant turning point as it ends the Bharat Rashtra Samiti’s reign since the state’s formation in 2014. Realizing Congress’s clear mandate, Revanth Reddy promptly headed to the Hyderabad party office to celebrate the victory with supporters and party members.

The success of Congress in Telangana is attributed to their electoral pledges, modeled after the successful strategies used in Karnataka. These commitments encompassed various aspects, such as offering free bus travel for women, monthly cash transfers, and a broad spectrum of promises supporting farmers, education, housing schemes, and land allotments for individuals involved in the state movement. These guarantees aimed at benefiting a diverse range of demographics, from farmers and students to women and historical activists in the state.
