Telangana reports 249 new Covid-19 cases and 2 deaths. Hyderabad News – Times of India

Hyderabad: Telangana On Sunday, 249 new Covid-19 cases and 2 deaths were recorded, while the number of active cases in the state stood at 5,258.
The total number of cases since the start of the pandemic last year is 6,61,551 and the death toll is 3,895. The number of active containment zones in the state was 15. Karimnagar and Yadadri have most of the active containment zones in the state.
A total of 313 patients were declared healthy on Sunday, taking the total number of recovered patients to 6,52,398. The case fatality rate (CFR) is 0.58 percent while the recovery rate is 98.61 percent. Of the total cases in the state so far, 79.8 per cent have been asymptomatic while 20.2 per cent have been symptomatic.
On Sunday, 53,789 samples were tested for the novel coronavirus. Telangana has now completed testing 2.54 crore samples and has reached 6.83 lakh sample tests per million population.
NS Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) reported 82 cases on Sunday, while neighboring Medchal Malkajgiri reported 17 cases. Ranga Reddy Recorded 13 more Sanga Reddy 6 cases registered
outside of Hyderabad City And its outskirts, Nalgonda, recorded the highest number of cases with 18 new cases.
