The BJP leader said the TRS was working in an undemocratic manner to stop him from raising his voice against the hike in bus fares. “The government has burdened the common man by increasing the rent and when we want to protest, the government is resorting to undemocratic methods like arrest and detention,” he said.

Reacting to the police personnel around his house, the BJP leader said that the government has failed to arrest the rapists and criminals, but it is taking action against the opposition party. He said that the TRS government has so far increased the TSRTC bus fare by 60 percent. He slammed the government for increasing the rent five times in three years. He alleged that this is part of a conspiracy to privatize TSRTC.
