Hyderabad: Telangana On Saturday, 12 new cases of the Omron version of Kovid-19 were reported, taking the total number of cases in the state to 79 so far.
Of the 12 new cases, three were reported among travelers who returned to the state from high-risk countries, while nine persons had come from non-risk countries in the last three days. The number of patients who have been cured so far has gone up to 27.
Meanwhile, Telangana witnessed a surge in Covid-19 cases on Saturday with 317 new cases and two deaths.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) reported 217 new cases on Saturday.
