A 17-year-old boy was arrested here on Sunday for allegedly throwing a petrol bomb at a woman, who had scolded him and his friend for kicking their pet dog, police said. According to the police, the boy and his friend allegedly kicked the dog, which was barking at them, while the two were walking on the road.
The pet owner yelled at them and they left. Later, they returned with another man, called him out and started arguing with him.
Then the teenager took out a bottle of petrol and lit it and threw it on the woman. Police said she drowned and the petrol bomb hit the wall of her house, causing damage. Based on the complaint, the police arrested the juvenile and his friend.
