Tech Wrap: Service restored after signal outage, Xiaomi launches ‘Civi’ smartphone

Signal is back up and running at 100 percent, the company has confirmed, after the app suffered a widespread outage early in the morning on Monday. Signal users had to face the outage from around 8:30 am today. Outage tracker DownDetector only showed outages in the US (Downdetector doesn’t show signal outages for India yet), while several users on Twitter reported outages on the instant messaging app.
