Tata Motors today announced that it has registered an overall sales growth of 36% in August 2022. Last month, Tata Motors sales stood at 78,843 units against 57,995 units in the corresponding period last year.
Witnessing a growth of 41 percent, the company’s total domestic sales stood at 76,479 units in August 2022 as compared to 54,190 units in August 2021.

In August 2022, domestic sales of MH&ICV that includes trucks and buses stood at 12,069 units against 8,962 units in the corresponding month previous year. Speaking of the total sales of MH&ICV domestic and international, including trucks and buses, stood at 12,846 units as compared to 10,593 units in August last year.
Coming to the domestic passenger vehicles sales, Tata Motors ICE vehicles registered 60% YoY growth with 43,321 units over 26,996 units sold in August 2021. As reported, the Tata Harrier, Safari and Nexon are responsible for the sales growth in August 2022.
Tata Motors EV reported 3,845 unit sales in August 2022 and witnessed a growth of 276% over 1,022 units sold in the same period previous year.
