Tata Motors on Friday reported an over three-fold jump in its consolidated net profit to Rs 17,528.59 crore for the March 2024 quarter. Its total consolidated revenue from operations during January-March 2024 stood at Rs 1,19,986.31 crore, compared with Rs 1,05,932.35 crore in the year-ago period.
Tata Motors’ net profit had stood at Rs 5,496.04 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, Tata Motors said in a regulatory filing.
Shares of Tata Motors on Friday rose Rs 16.70 or 1.62 per cent to close at Rs 1,046.85 apiece on the BSE.
