Tata And Hyundai SUVs Lead As Maruti Suzuki Fails

It’s rare for a month to go by without a Maruti car leading the sales chart, but in March 2024, the Tata Punch claimed the top spot. Even more unusual, a Maruti car not securing second place is unheard of, yet in the same month, the Hyundai Creta took that position.

March 2024 was indeed full of surprises. The Tata Punch took the lead in sales with 17,547 units sold during the month, followed closely by the Hyundai Creta with 16,458 units.

The Tata Punch has been experiencing steady growth, while the Hyundai Creta’s sales volumes have been quite impressive since the introduction of the facelift model in January 2024.

The Tata Punch’s ICE version is priced between Rs 6.13 lakh and Rs 10.20 lakh (ex-showroom), while the Tata Punch EV sits in the price range of Rs 10.99 lakh to Rs 15.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
