Tarak Ratna’s wife reportedly collapsed after his sudden death.
Taraka Ratna’s wife Alekhya Reddy has reportedly fallen ill a day after her husband’s tragic death. The late actor-turned-politician is survived by his wife and three children.
Tarak Ratna passed away on Saturday night. While his mortal remains were brought to his home on Sunday, several reports said that the last rites of the actor-turned-politician will take place on Monday evening. Some stars were seen walking towards their homes to pay their last respects. It features his cousin, RRR star Jr NTR. Before the funeral, it is claimed that Taraka’s wife Alekhya Reddy has fallen ill.
According to multiple reports including Pinkvilla, Alekh fell ill after the shocking demise of Tarak on Sunday. It is claimed that she had not eaten for two days as she was looking after the couple’s children, two daughters and a son. In pictures and videos from the late actor’s home after his death, fans saw the family grieving and trying to come to terms with the tragedy.
It is reported that Taraka and Alekhya tied the knot in 2012. The couple met and fell in love on the sets of Daya, in which she was a costume designer. The couple gets married despite the disapproval of Taraka’s family. They married in a temple in Hyderabad and none of the actor’s family members attended the ceremony. Eventually Taraka’s family accepted the relationship.
Taraka Ratna was the grandson of legendary film actor and former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh late NT Rama Rao and son of Nandamuri Mohan Krishna. Last month, he had collapsed while participating in the launch of TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh’s statewide ‘padayatra’ at Kuppam on January 27. After initial treatment at a nearby hospital, he was airlifted to Bengaluru. It is being told that his condition had remained critical ever since he was admitted to the hospital. Jr NTR visited him in the hospital soon after the incident.
Taraka’s mortal remains were brought to her home in Hyderabad on Sunday and several stars including the RRR star were seen paying their respects.
