His uncle Nandamuri Rama Krishna said that his family is bringing foreign doctors to Bengaluru for treatment.
Actor-turned-politician Nandamuri Taraka Ratna is still undergoing treatment at Narayana Hrudayalaya Hospital in Bengaluru for over three weeks. This is because he suffered a cardiac arrest on January 27 during a political campaign in Kuppam, Andhra Pradesh. His family has not commented on any health update about him. In a recent incident, his uncle and actor Nandamuri Balakrishna – who has been taking care of him since the incident and is in constant touch with the doctors – also dropped questions about Tarak Ratna’s health. Taraka Ratna’s uncle Nandamuri Rama Krishna recently interacted with reporters and dismissed reports of Taraka Ratna’s family taking him abroad for further treatment.
He said that Tarak Ratna is not being taken to any foreign country for additional medical assistance; On the contrary, the relatives are bringing foreign doctors to Bengaluru for his treatment.

Last week, his fans gathered at a Ganapati temple opposite the hospital and offered special prayers for his speedy recovery. He also broke 101 coconuts and offered them to Lord Ganesha, wishing Tarak good health.
Earlier, it was reported by several media houses that for Taraka’s well-being, Balakrishna had ordered one of his aides to light the Akhand Jyoti for 44 days and worship at Mrityunjaya Swamy Temple in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh. A special puja was also performed in the temple for his speedy recovery.
Taraka Ratna’s cousin Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, who was there for the promotion of his film Amigos, was asked about the update on Taraka’s health. He did not share much, but said, “The hospital authorities will give the correct information. I am not the right person to talk about this.”
On 27 January, Taraka Ratna was participating in Nar Lokesh’s padayatra in Kuppam when he suffered a heart attack and collapsed. He was immediately taken to a private hospital in Kuppam and then shifted to Bengaluru. Balayya then also told that Tarak had 90 per cent blockage in the left side of his heart.
