Tanisha Mukherjee reveals that she has 39. But why opt for the egg freezing process?

Actress Tanisha Mukherjee is all set to make a comeback with a short film, Life is Short. She will be seen playing the role of a disappointed actress in the film.

“It’s a lovely subject. It’s a film that will make an impact. We shot it before the pandemic and it got delayed because of the pandemic,” Tanisha told ETimes.

During their chat, she also opened up about her decision to freeze her eggs at the age of 39 and her frequent comparisons with mother, veteran actress Tanuja and sister Kajol. The actress revealed that she wanted to freeze her eggs when she was 33 years old, however, her doctor advised her against it at such a young age.

Talking about her move, she said that motherhood is a personal choice and it is okay for women not to have children. He said that if one cannot have children, they should adopt those who are fighting for a better life.

She revealed that when she turned 39; She was controversial about motherhood. That’s why he decided to freeze his eggs. However, he had gained a lot of weight while going through this process. She explained that a woman who freezes her eggs has too much progesterone, which results in bloating. After the procedure, she went through a hardcore regime to ensure that she was fit.

The actress further said that if women do not want to be in a relationship or do not want to get married, then it is absolutely fine. She remembered her grandmother as a strong personality who never defined herself with a man next to her. He said that women were more progressive in those days, but somewhere in between, society’s thinking about the marital status of women deteriorated. Tanisha said that even her mother has always told her from adolescence that she doesn’t necessarily have to get married to have a child.
