Tamil Nadu Election 2024 Phase 1 Voting LIVE: All the 39 seats of Tamil Nadu are set to go into polling in the first of the seven-phase Lok Sabha elections on Friday. The result of the high-stakes battle between the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) will be declared on June 4.
Key candidates to watch out for in Tamil Nadu is the state BJP president K Annamalai, contesting from Coimbatore against DMK leader Ganapathy P Rajkumar and AIADMK’s Singai Ramachandran. In the Chennai South Lok Sabha seat, BJP’s Tamilisai Soundararajan will be facing DMK’s Thamizhachi Thangapandian and AIADMK’s J Jayavardhan.
