The Taliban said on Sunday that talks are underway with the Afghan government for a peaceful surrender of Kabul, adding that it has no plans to militarily demolish the capital.
In a statement, the rebel group acknowledged that the fighters have no intention of entering the Afghan capital, Kabul, and will enter the city peacefully.
