At the iconic Taj Mahal in Delhi, the Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) showcased the Maharaja Suite. The suite’s design pays homage to the iconic Air India emblem and welcomes the national airline back to the Tata fold. A journey through time, The Maharajah Suite offers a uniquely themed master bedroom, dining room, an enclosed balcony lounge and a study paying tribute to the pioneer of Indian aviation. The Maharaja’s distinctive style, wit and warmth come to life in its custom-made furniture and artworks. The Maharaja’s distinctive mustache takes center stage in the aeroplane-style windows, lounge chair, luggage elements, and deep red upholstery in the doors and ceiling, and aviation aesthetics.
