Tahir Raj Bhasin is over the moon as he is getting positive reviews for playing the romantic character in two back-to-back web shows Ranjeesh Hi Sahi and Yeh Kaali Kali Aankhen.
Tahir, who made his Bollywood debut with an outstanding performance as an antagonist in Rani Mukerji-starrer Mardaani, revealed that he is getting more love as a hero now and he couldn’t be happier, “When I entered the industry Starting off as an antagonist-Hero I have received tremendous love from critics and audiences and now that I have prepared myself to judge myself as a romantic hero, I am thrilled that there is more to Mardaani than that accepted. It gives me so much confidence as an actor because every artist wants his work to be appreciated. I am thankful to the projects and the audience for showering so much love on me. I wish they continue to do so throughout my career because it is extremely inspiring.”
Both Ranjeesh Hi Sahi and Yeh Kaali Kaali Aankhen are being reviewed very well by the audience and both these shows are one of the highest rated Hindi web series of all time. Tahir is very happy with this result. “It is overwhelming and exciting to receive the kind of love I am getting as a romantic hero in Yeh Kaali Kaali Aankhen and Ranjesh Hi Sahi Sahi. Both these shows are doing well in their own right and are one of the highest rated digital shows ever made in India. I am so happy to know that because I have given my all to these projects.
Recently, Tahir had mentioned how superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s journey was a big inspiration for him, “I think every young actor in India aspires to get the love and fans that someone like Shah Rukh Khan commands. Shahrukh is not only a megastar but also an emotion. For me Shahrukh Khan sir was always an inspiration and his journey has always been a source of strength. I came to Mumbai from New Delhi just like him. He was a complete outsider and He had no godfather and it is no secret that I didn’t know a single soul in Bollywood when I came to the city.”
The actor will next be seen in ‘Loop Lapeta’ opposite Taapsee Pannu. The film is releasing digitally on February 4.
