Google has unveiled its Google Pixel Watch at its annual event I/O. There has been a lot of discussion about this watch, which has been waiting for a long time, when it will be launched. Google did not reveal much about the Pixel Watch but has confirmed it. The company has also told that the watch will be launched with Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro later this year. Now, days after Google confirmed the Pixel Watch, a new report has shared about the internals of the Pixel Watch.

9to5 Google has claimed that the upcoming Watch may come with some very old and outdated hardware, if reports are to be believed, Samsung’s Exynos 9110 chipset can be used in Google Pixel Watch.

This chipset came in 2018
This chipset is almost four years old as the Exynos 9110 chipset was introduced in 2018. Earlier, it was speculated that the watch will come with Exynos W920. Although this has come to the fore in the leaked report at the moment, and Google has not given any such confirmation.

The announcement comes more than a year after Google’s acquisition of Fitbit closed in January 2021, while the Fitbit team is working on the development of the Pixel Watch. Unlike the Pixel Watch, which will be Android-only, Fitbit’s products are compatible with iPhones as well. Park said the company has no plans to stop support for iOS users on the Fitbit product.

Special design of Google Watch
The watch sports a domed round design, works on Google’s Wear OS smartwatch software and includes some Fitbit health-tracking features. Google did not announce the price, but said it would be made available as a premium product.

Popular Google apps like Maps, Wallet and Google Assistant will be part of the Pixel Watch. The watch will get customized bands and tactile crowns similar to those found on the Apple Watch. The company hasn’t announced price, availability, feature details, battery life or other hardware like processor, health sensor or display type of the watch.
