The last time the ICC hosted a multinational event was when the world was a different place. It was back in July 2019 when the ICC Cricket World Cup was played. In between, the top three boards – ECB, CA and BCCI – were able to host their own bilateral series; The BCCI has also hosted the IPL twice. The ICC already has a committee of medical experts which also includes Dr Abhijit Salvi of the BCCI, but it is understood that there could be some positive cases even if there is a bio-bubble.

“I think we have been very clear in our communication with members.
