Suspecting conspiracy behind son’s death, UP man kept dead body in deep freezer. Lucknow News – Times of India

Lucknow: A fortnight after the death of Shivank Pathak (32) under mysterious circumstances in Delhi, his body is being kept in a deep freezer at his house in Sultanpur district. Uttar Pradesh.
Treating it as a case of murder, his father has approached a local court seeking an order to register an FIR. The court is likely to issue an order in this regard on Wednesday.
Shiv Prasad’s father, a retired army personnel, claims that his son called him days before his death to inform him that he could be murdered or that he could be implicated in a criminal case.
“I will not perform the last rites of my son till the case is registered. Till then his body will be kept in the deep freezer,” he told TOI.
Shivank’s younger brother Ishank, who works in the Railways and is posted in Lucknow, told TOI that Delhi Police No FIR was registered in connection with the death of his brother. He said that he had not even provided the copy of the post-mortem report.
Ishank said, “My sister-in-law Gurleen Kaur called my sister Poonam Mishra, who lives in Delhi’s Motinagar area, and told her that Shivank had fainted and turned pale.” He was taken to the government hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.”
“I reached Delhi on the morning of August 2 along with my father, but by then the doctors had done the post-mortem,” he said. “After this, I reached the Begumpur police station, but there was no help from the police,” he said. “We again approached the Delhi court, but the court also dismissed the case. We had no choice but to return home. We also brought his body here and approached a local court.
She further alleged that her sister-in-law and her father wanted to usurp her brother’s property. Shivank started a private call center in Delhi in 2011 and married Gurleen in 2013. They also have a one year old daughter Shonaya.
