Sushant Singh Rajput Case: Rhea Chakraborty Permitted To Go Abroad

Sushant Singh Rajput Case: After the tragic death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput on June 14, 2020, his family leveled up the accusations against his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, alleging her involvement in the actor’s suicide case.

Rhea Chakraborty Was Arrested After Sushant Singh Rajput Died 

After an extensive investigation, Actress Rhea Chakraborty was arrested in connection with a drug case. However, she was released on bail after 28 days. Following the case, Chakraborty’s international travel was restricted as per the court’s order. Nevertheless, she has recently been granted permission by a special court in Mumbai to travel abroad, including a trip to Sri Lanka for Holi celebrations.

Judge KP Kshirsagar Approved Her Request 

Judge KP Kshirsagar of the special court, who handles cases related to the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, has approved her request, as well as a similar application filed by her brother and co-accused, Showik Chakraborty. Her brother was arrested in September 2020 in connection with the case, and a month later, he was also granted bail by the Bombay High Court. Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik, and several others are also implicated in the case.
