Will be seen sharing screen with Suriya Akshay Kumar In the Hindi remake of the superhit Tamil film Soorarai Potru. Director Sudha Kongara’s original film was partly inspired by events in the life of Air Deccan founder Captain GR Gopinath. Confirming her cameo in the film, Suriya tweeted, “It was nostalgic to see Akshay Kumar sir you as Veer! Sudha Kongara can see our story come to life beautifully #Maara! Team up in a brief cameo Enjoyed every minute with ‘Soorarai Pottru’ Hindi!” Actor Suriya, who played the lead role in the original, decided to participate in the worship of the Hindi remake, which stars Bollywood actors Akshay Kumar and Radhika Madan.

Akshay shared Suriya’s tweet and replied, “Thank you brother @Suriya_offl. Loving every moment for shooting an inspiring story like #SooraraiPottru. And being in Chennai despite our strict captain has (heart).”

Fans of both Akshay and Suriya are on the ninth spot to see both the stars in one frame. He took to social media and expressed his enthusiasm. One of them wrote, “You and Dhanush are great actors of Tamil cinema… I like you 2 more than any other Tamil stars… This picture made my day.” Another fan wrote, “Maybe we can have Suriya in a full role in Hindi soon.”

about the movie

The Hindi version of Soorarai Potru is being produced on a grand scale in association with Suriya’s production house, 2D Entertainment, Abudantia Entertainment and Cape Good Films. 2D Entertainment is making its debut in Hindi film production with this film. Sudha Kongara, who directed the Tamil version of ‘Soorarai Pottru’, is also directing the Hindi version. Niketh Bommi is the cinematographer of this film, whose music is given by GV Prakash.

Suriya had gone to Mumbai to attend the opening ceremony of the Hindi version after being requested by Akshay Kumar.
