Suriya has joined hands with director Siruthai Siva for the first for his upcoming film, and the film is tentatively titled ‘Suriya 42’. Now, the latest update is that ‘Suriya 42’ begins with a pooja officially today. The makers have taken off the film with a muhurat puja today in Chennai, while several stars are spotted along with Suriya in the auspicious event. Bollywood actress Disha Patani is making her Tamil debut with ‘Suriya 42’ as she plays the female lead, while Mahat is said to be playing a crucial role as he is spotted in the muhurat puja. Reported to be made on a huge budget, the story of ‘Suriya 42’ is written by Siruthai Siva and Aadhi Narayana, while Madhan Karky will be penning the dialogues for the film.
Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the music for the film, while the cinematography and editing are to be done by Vetri and Richard Kevin respectively. Supreme Sundar will be directing the action sequences, while art director Milan, who was associated with Siruthai Siva in ‘Annaatthe’, has again reunited with the director.
The muhurat puja of ‘Suriya 42’ happened in the Agaram foundation located in Ramapuram, Chennai, and the film has hit the floors with a formal shoot. The extensive shooting of the film is to begin soon in Goa, and the team will be shooting in a huge set erected in the beach city for a month or more.
