While the cop fights the battle for his integrity, the professor needs justice. The intense tussle between the cop and the professor, along with the cop’s efforts to solve a complex case, makes the film an interesting watch. The film has a lot of mysteries that unfold as the story moves forward. Apart from Suresh Gopi and Biju Menon, the cast also includes Siddique, Jagadish, Thalaivasal Vijay, Dileesh Pothan, Abhirami, Divya Pillai, Arjun Nandhakumar, Nishanth Sagar, Major Ravi in important roles.

On Amazon Prime, the film is available in different languages along with subtitles.

In a recent interview, the director, Arun Varma, talked about what inspired him to make the film. He said, “In fact, we have referenced a few real-life incidents for the plot. The character Theresa Philip is based on the real-life case of Aruna Shanbaug, who was raped by a ward boy and then slipped into a coma for over 36 years. Initially, this case served as a thread in the story. The culprit behind the case is still alive and has been released after serving his sentence in prison. Hence, it altogether serves as the main theme of our story.”

Biju Menon was initially approached to play the police officer in the film, but he expressed interest in the professor role, according to director Arun Varma. Suresh Gopi, who planned to play the professor, later agreed to take on the police officer role, resulting in a change in their respective character assignments.
