The Supreme Court has reportedly suggested that Sanjay Leela Bhansali and his team change the title of their upcoming film Gangubai Kathiawadi. The suggestion has come amid several cases surrounding the film’s plot and depiction of the lead character stand pending before the court. One of the cases has been filed by Gangubai’s adopted son.
According to Bar and Bench, a bench of Justices Indira Banerjee and JK Maheshwari were hearing an appeal filed against the movie when the suggestion was made. The suggestion comes just two days before the film is scheduled to release on the big screen.
